OUR FIRST ACTIVITY - Tue. November 10th

I didn't have a lot of time to pull this one together, but it should be fun--it's the people coming that make the activities fun, you know!!!

Here's what we are working on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th 7:00-9:45pm at our building. There will be a nursery from 7:00-8:30pm.

72 hour kits


We will assemble and seal the kits that night, if there is anything else you want in your kit, be sure to bring it (however there isn't much room!)

In a #10 sealed food storage can: $4.50 each
In a ziploc bag: $3.65 each

Contents include:
2 granola bars
1 capri sun juice
2 pkg. ramen noodles
3 pkg. instant oatmeal
1 pkg. fruit snacks
3 pkg. hot chocolate
1 pkg. crackers
1 bowl of apple sauce
1 pkg. nuts
1 pkg. craisins
1 pkg. apple cider
1 chicken bullioun cube
9 pieces of candy

NOTE: there are lots of peanuts, wheat, and other allergy sensitive items. If your family has allergies, you may need to change the contents of your kit...don't do the sealed can!!!

Kits are good for 6-12 months. We will probably be doing this activity again next summer to help you stay on top of your kits!

Pillowcases

Free - You will supply your own fabric

Every year I make my son and husband a fun pillowcase for Christmas. I love going to the fabric store and picking out the perfect fabric for both of them (and sometimes me). It only takes a short time to make them, and they are so excited to see what I chose for them each time!

Come learn some basic sewing techniques and make a fun pillow case for someone you love.

You will need to provide YOUR OWN fabric, but we will have the sewing machines and thread there for you that night. You will need approximately 1 1/2 yards of (at least) 42" fabric.

Please sign up to work on your pillowcase so we can get an idea of how many sewing machines we will need. Please plan to only make 1 pillowcase that night, unless machines are free after everyone has had a turn.

We will provide the paint in blue, green and red. If you want another color (all Vinyl will be white) please bring your own paint and brush.
