As a presidency, and under the direction of the General RS Presidency and our Stake RS Presidency, we are transitioning extra RS activities into neighborhood activities. That means that Book Group, Play Group, and Game Night will no longer be an extension of Relief Society, but rather, an opportunity for neighbors and friends to socialize together. We encourage these activities to continue and we encourage you to extend invitations to others to join these groups. They are a valuable and essential part of friendshipping and developing relationships with others. We will not announce information about these groups on the RS Blog or in Relief Society, but information will be made available through friends and neighbors as well as on the PM 1st Facebook Page (let a member of the presidency know if you would like to be invited to this group). We appreciate all who have put effort into developing and maintaining these groups (and will continue to do so) as they have served a great need among the sisters in our ward.
We will continue having a monthly RS Meeting which will be focused on meeting the temporal and spiritual needs of our sisters while strengthening sisterhood and unity. We invite all to participate as these will be a perfect opportunity to love, nurture, and teach each other.
