Ladies,
It's volleyball season again! For those of you that haven't had the pleasure of playing with our ward before... you are in for a treat!!! Our ward has a reputation of being the most friendly and funnest team in the stake! We have lots of team spirit, however not much skill--for the most part. If you would like to be a part of our team PLEASE join us!!!
We will be having a pre-game meeting and warm up on this THURSDAY night @ 5:45pm at our church. Our first offical game will be at 6:30 that night, so even if you can't make it to the pre-game meeting, please come for the game. Be sure to be at every game at least 5 minutes early to avoid us having to FORFEIT (that's our least favorite way to lose!). The schedule is on the left side of the blog here.
Our ward is the ONLY (so far) ward that has an offical team uniform. We wear ALL BLACK. So dust off your black t-shirt (and pants if you have them) and come on out and play! And we MEAN PLAY!!! This is church ball. The main purposes are A) physical activity, B) fellowshipping, and C) having fun together!
If you haven't signed the roster yet, please be at the church no later than 6:15 on Thursday night. BUT try to come to the meeting where we will be discussing rules and regulations and other important things before we get warmed up. One thing I need to tell you before Thursday night is that we are not allowed to wear hats for the games. Not sure if you wear one as much as I do, but we can't wear them during the games.

So far we are 0-1 on our matches. If we would have just had one more skilled player we could have EASILY won at least one of our 2 match games! See you next week!
